Cancellation Policy

Artsy Events LLC, dba Wowzers



Upon making a reservation with Artsy Events LLC, dba Wowzers (the company), a 50% advanced payment is required to confirm the booking within 72 hours (or must be collected immediately upon reserving if event date is less than 14 days away).
This is a retainer which covers pre-event work -- consultations, emails, event planning, training and safety preparation, etc.
CANCELLATION: Client understands that upon entering into this agreement, the company (Artsy Events LLC, dba Wowzers) and our professional talent are committing time and resources to this event, long before the event takes place, and client is holding a time slot which no one else can have, and thus cancellation would result in lost income and lost business opportunities in an amount hard to precisely calculate. Therefore, 25% or more (half of the advanced payment amount or more) is non-refundable in case of cancelation within 27 days (about 4 weeks) prior to the scheduled event appearance, as detailed in the following cancellation fee schedule.
In the event of cancellation, the following payment schedule will be instituted:
● Cancellation 28+ days (4+ weeks) prior to event date: A full refund will be given.
● Cancellation 21-27 days (3-4 weeks) prior to event date: 25% of total reservation cost is non-refundable ( 50% of the advanced payment amount is non-refundable). Half of the advanced payment amount will be refunded, half will be retained by the company.
● Cancellation 14-20 days (2-3 weeks) prior to event date: 50% of total reservation cost is non-refundable (the full advanced payment amount is non-refundable). Advanced payment will be retained if event is cancelled within 20 days of the event date.
● Cancellation 7-13 days (1-2 weeks) prior to event date: 75% of total reservation cost is non-refundable (the full advanced payment amount is non-refundable, PLUS 50% of the remaining balance is due). Advanced payment will not be refunded, and Artsy Events, dba Wowzers will retain and/or collect half of the remaining balance from the client.
● Cancellation 0-6 days (within 1 week) prior to event: The full reservation cost (100% of total amount due) will be retained and/or collected from the client. Advanced payment amount AND final balance amount (total cost of the reservation) are non-refundable and will be retained and/or collected from the client.
PLEASE NOTE: Exceptions will NOT be made because of rain, light snow, or other normal non-sunny weather conditions. Events that rely on a sunny beautiful day in order to hold their event at all will NOT be given special exceptions to the above rule.
However, if the event is cancelled due to extreme/dangerous weather (it is not safe to travel or hold an event), the company WILL give special exceptions to the above cancellation policy, but reserves the right to do this at the company's discretion alone.
